Q: What about my accounting functions?

A: Prevail Association Management Software™ alleviates the need to have two separate membership and customer databases by maintaining all of your detailed sales and receipts records. You enter all charges and payments into Prevail and then simply post the totals to Peachtree Accounting® (or your accounting software of choice). You then use the accounting software to handle your payables functions and to produce financial statements.

 

We recommend Peachtree® because of its flexibility. (For example, you can easily jump back and forth between accounting periods.) It also has powerful tools for modifying financial statement formats (to meet the 'function-oriented' nature of associations). The majority of our clients use either Peachtree® or QuickBooks®. The basic requirement is that you have an established, numbered chart of accounts. The chart of accounts is then shared by your accounting software and Prevail Association Management Software™.
